Glimpses of school induction

In this week,  I taught following topics in classes 8 C and 8 E on the basis of lesson plan prepared by myself. The names of those topics are following : economic thinking and Gandhian economics, life of people, towards the gangetic plain and agrarian society, Buddhism, mahajanapadas from the chapters economic thinking, towards the Gangetic plain. Other than teaching practices, I participated in school assembly conducted by the school authorities and tried to manage the students properly while conducting the assembly. At the same time in this week I went to different classes in high school and upper primary sections. As part of B.Ed curriculum I conducted achievement test to class 8 E students from the second chapter 'the river valley civilizations' and from the third chapter 'In search of earth's secrets'.

In this week I taught following new topics : Exchange system and moovendans, classification of map and map readings on the basis of lesson plan at classes at 8 c and 8 e. In addition to teaching practices, I went to substitution classes in high school and upper primary sections.

In this fifth week , I conducted diagnostic test for class 8 E students from the first chapter 'early human life' and then I got five days in school to complete my teaching practices.I taught new topics using lesson plan from the chapter organs of government and I began to teach new topics from the chapter 'ancient tamilakam'. The name of the topics are following  : legislature in India and functions of Parliament, executive, judiciary, ancient tamilakam and sangam literature, exchange system and moovendans. In addition to teaching practices , I went to kitchen for the purpose to serve mid day meals for upper primary class students. To conclude, the fifth week of my teaching practice was good and gave me new experience in B.Ed training life 

In this week, I got just two days for teaching practices because other days were holiday of this week due to severe monsoon rain issues. So in this week I taught final topic 'let us conserve soil' from the chapter 'In search of earth's secrets' using jurisprudential inquiry model. Also I began to teach new topic 'organs of government' from the fourth chapter 'Our government'. So, by this week I successfully completed my 14th and 15th days of my teaching practices at St John's HSS, Mattom. 

Our school had conducted assembly twice in this week on the topics such as : world drug day, health awareness. At the same time I had went to kitchen in order to serve mid day meals for upper primary and high school students. In classes 8 C and 8 E I taught following topics on the basis of lesson plan : Interior of the earth, rocks, weathering, soil evolves. To conclude, third week of my teaching practice was very good, enthusiastic and memorable
